1. Introduction

Duke is a chat bot that allows you to add, save and print task list. It has a command line Interface (CLI) for you to type the command and Duke will do what you input!

2. Quick Start

  1. Ensure you have Java 11 or above installed in your Computer

  2. Download the latest Duke.jar here.

  3. Copy the file to the folder you want to use as the home folder for your Duke.

  4. Double-click the file to start the app. The GUI should appear in a few seconds.\ Ui

  5. Type the command in the command box and press Enter to execute it.\ e.g. typing list and pressing Enter will print the task list.

  6. Some example commands you can try:\
    • list : lists all tasks

    • todo Return book : adds a task called Return book to the Duke.

    • delete 3 : deletes the 3rd task shown in the current list

    • exit : exits the app

4. FAQ

Q: How do I transfer my data to another Computer?\ A: Install the app in the other computer and overwrite the data file it creates at \duke\data\duke.txt with the file that contains the data of your previous Duke folder.
